1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded: In the Parts Department, employee(s) engaged in fabrication activities utilizing the custom axle drill press #38 were exposed to amputation and laceration hazards in that no machine guarding was provided for the rotating drill bits. Harper Trucks Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1527093, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/23/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1522 S Florence St., in Wichita, KS 67209.
