29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B):The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy; On or about December 2, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the machine specific procedures for the control of hazardous energies on the Lyle vertical trim press (serial number 143741103000523) included or outlined steps to shut down, isolate, block, or secure the pneumatic energy source of the equipment. Employees were tasked with service and maintenance of the equipment in which the procedures did not contain information on the pneumatic energy source.
