29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)   At a residential worksite located at 8415 NE Elmwood KC MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties were using chemicals such as gasoline and Titebond Metal Roof Weather Master Sealant. The gasoline was used to power the portable air compressor. The sealant was used in conjunction with roofing. The employer did not have a hazard communication program, safety data sheets (sds), and/or hazard communication training for the employees. This was documented on or about 12/12/2024.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  At a residential worksite located at 8415 NE Elmwood KC MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties using pitchforks, hammers, leaf blower and other various small hand tools tearing off the existing roof were not wearing eye protection. This exposed employees to getting shrapnel and debris in their eyes causing injury. This was documented on or about 12/12/2024.

The ladder did not extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface. This exposed employees to fall hazards. This was documented on 12/12/2024.
