29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(16): Portable ladders with structural defects, such as, but not limited to, broken or missing rungs, cleats, or steps, broken or split rails, corroded components, or other faulty or defective components, were not either immediately marked in a manner that readily identifies them as defective, or tagged with "Do Not Use" or similar language, and were not withdrawn from service until repaired: a- 120 Ada Hightower Avenue, Hopewell NJ: Two company workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 23 feet 2 inches, when accessing to and egressing from a pump jack scaffold's elevated walking/working surface using a damaged aluminum extension ladder. Condition noted on or about 12/17/24.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a- 120 Ada Hightower Avenue, Hopewell NJ - Two workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 23 feet 2 inches, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold that was missing end stops. Condition observed on or about 12/17/24. b - 124 Ada Hightower Avenue, Hopewell NJ - A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 15 feet 9 inches, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold that was missing an end stop on the end they were working at/near. Condition observed on or about 12/17/24. AA & B Builder, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1466432, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/14/22, with respect to a workplace located at Building 200, 211-224 Betty Lane, Ewing NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
