29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A):Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function. (a) Dry Dock 1 - M/V Hubbard - On or about February 10, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employees performing tooling operations on the hull of a boat in dry dock were exposed to respiratory hazards in that they had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face, interfering with valve function.
