29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  a) New single-family residential structure located at Lot #13 at 5563 Overview Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30542, Ground area: On or about 2/14/2025, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards while operating Makitia 5007F 7 1/4-inch circular saw, in that the lower guard did not retract immediately after a cut was made as a chock was used to keep the lower guard in the open position.

29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.   a) New single-family residential structure located at Lot #13 at 5563 Overview Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30542, Scaffold: Employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 28 feet to the lower ground below while utilizing a pump jack scaffolding system, in that a fall protection system was not available or utilized.
