29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a)Agropur, Inc, at 408 Dakota Street, Lake Norden, SD 57248:  On or about and at times prior to February  24, 2025, the employer did not ensure that the unused portion of blade on the vertical bandsaw,  Model: Marvel 8, manufactured by Armstrong, was properly adjusted and guarded.  Approximately 5.75 inches of saw blade was exposed at the top and approximately 3.25 inches above the bearing guides while cutting flat, rectangular, and round metal stock.  This condition exposed employees to amputation hazards.  b)Agropur, Inc, at 408 Dakota Street, Lake Norden, SD 57248:  On or about and at times prior to February  24, 2025, the employer did not ensure portions of the press brake, shear, and nibbler on the Ironworker Piranha, model number 9694, was properly guarded.  This condition exposed employees to amputation hazards.

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(D):Identifiable. Lockout devices and tagout devices shall indicate the identity of the employee applying the device(s):  a)Agropur, Inc, at 408 Dakota Street, Lake Norden, SD 57248:  On or about and at times prior to February  24, 2025, the employer did not ensure that the lock securing power to the Compressor HS1 in room 4108 for the purposes of performing maintenance, was properly labeled to identify the person that installed the lock.    Agropur, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1742742, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at N2915 County Road AB, Luxemburg, WI 54217.  Agropur, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1536196, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on October 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2701 Freedom Road, Appleton, WI 54913.

29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy in that employees did not maintain exclusive control of hazardous machinery while conducting repair operations:    a)Agropur, Inc, at 408 Dakota Street, Lake Norden, SD 57248:  On or about and at times prior to February 24, 2025, the employer did not ensure that exclusive energy control was maintained by employees working on the Vilter Chiller Compressor Serial # 366682 .  This condition exposed employees to caught in, crushing, electrocution, and amputation hazards.
