29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  a) New single-family structure located on Lot #6 at 5529 Keswick Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30084, Second floor: On or about 02/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating circular saws and pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided while engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  a) New single-family structure located on Lot #6 at 5529 Keswick Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30084, Second floor: On or about 02/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to severe laceration/amputation hazards while operating  Makita 5007F 7-1/4-inch circular saw, in that the lower guard did not retract  immediately after a cut was made as a chock was used to keep the lower guard in  the open position.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:    a) New single-family structure located on Lot #6 at 5529 Keswick Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30084, Second floor: On or about 02/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 11-feet 1-inches to the lower ground below , in that an adequate fall protection system was not utilized while engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13):The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  a) New single-family structure located on Lot #6 at 5529 Keswick Dr., Flowery Branch, GA 30084, Ground level: On or about 02/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards up to 11-feet, 1-inches to the lower level in that employees were utilizing the top step of a 6-foot self-supporting ladder to gain access to the upper working area as the ladder provided had a maximum height of 5-feet, 10-inches.
