29 CFR  1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling.  On or about April 2, 2025, and at times prior thereto, a Hamilton Beach coffee maker was plugged into a brown extension cord and three Lasko Oscillating Stand Fan was plugged into a relocatable power tap, in which, were not used according to listing and labeling instructions. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to electrical and/or fire hazard(s).   In the following location(s): a) Car Care Center -  Hamilton Beach coffee maker b) Mini Mart - Lasko Oscillating Stand Fan  Navy Exchange Car Care Center was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1760916, citation number, 1 item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 4th, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 3122 Norman Scott Road, San Diego, CA 92136.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Flexible cords and/or cables were run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors.  Mini Mart: On or about April 2, 2025, and at times prior thereto, flexible cords and/or cables were run through holes in walls, ceilings and were used as a source of permanent power to power an Autoport Mini Market Wisconsin Cheese cooler and a Beverage cooler. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s).  Navy Exchange Car Care Center was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1722872, citation number, 1 item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on April 4, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 484 Exchange Avenue, San Diego, CA 92135.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage.  Car Care Center: On or about April 2, 2025, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure at least 3 feet in front of the electrical panel was clear. The circuit breaker panel had various gardening equipment obstructing the panel. This condition interferes with access and immediate shutdown of a circuit in the panel, particularly in the event of an emergency. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s).  Navy Exchange Car Care Center was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1722872, citation number, 2 item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on April 4, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 484 Exchange Avenue, San Diego, CA 92135.
