29 CFR 1910.106(d)(2)(i):  Approved container(s) or portable tank(s) were not used for the storage of flammable or combustible liquids:  Engine Generator Room: Employee(s) store and use diesel fuel for refueling generators which was stored in plastic containers in the engine generator room to keep generators running.  The employer did not ensure to use approved metal safety can(s) (approved by a nationally recognized testing laboratory) for the handling and use of flammable liquids, and had a capacity of 5 gallons or less equipped with a spring-closing lid and spout cover, a means to relieve internal pressure, and flash-arresting screen.  This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to fire hazards due to tipping, punctures, spills, static buildup, and/or container swelling.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard: 5.1.6: Eyewashes shall be capable of delivering flushing fluid to the eyes not less than 1.5 liters per minute (0.4 gpm) for 15 minutes. If shut off valves are installed in the supply line for maintenance purposes, provisions shall be made to prevent unauthorized shut off.  Building 4201: On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) handled corrosive chemical(s) while conducting receiving, stocking, repair, cleaning and/or disinfecting tasks. The employer did not ensure contract employee(s) were provided an eyewash for quick drenching and/or flushing of eyes for 15 minutes due to unexpected exposure to chemicals in the building and/or potential exposure within the employee(s) work area. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to eye irritation, corneal abrasion, and/or serious eye damage.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemicals.  Bldg. 4201: On or about April 03,2025 and at times prior thereto, Employee(s) use a multitude of chemical cleaning products to clean common areas and restrooms.  The employer did not ensure that all chemical product(s) maintained (such as PURE Hard Surface Disinfectant) on site had an SDS sheet either in paper form and/or available on an electronic data base for employee use upon request that listed the physical and chemical properties, handling and storage instructions, potential health effects, and emergency procedures. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to chemical hazard(s) such as eye irritation.
