29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about April 7, 2025, at a new commercial building construction work site, an employee conducting steel erection activities more than fifteen feet above a lower level was not in use of a fall arrest system. Warrior Steel LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1669344, citation number 2, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 8/23/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 300 Cimarron, Tuttle, OK 73089.
