29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) New residential construction located on Lot #8A at 128 Classic Overlook, Homer, GA 30547, Top plate: On or about 04/22/2025, the employer exposed employees to severe lacerations/amputation hazards while operating Milwaukee 7-1/4-inch circular saws, in that the lower guard did not retract immediately after a cut was made as a chock was used to keep the lower guard in the fixed open position.
