29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about May 31, 2025, employees conducting wooden framing operations on a 184 foot long, by 72 foot wide and 31 foot high building were not protected from falling at least 20 feet to the ground level (the lower level) by the use of guardrail, safety net, and/or personal fall arrest systems.
