29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  On or about June 4th, 2025 Location: 19 Maple Terrace, Monsey, NY 10952  a) Employee was exposed to eye injuries while installing wood studs using a pneumatic nail gun without eye protection.  b) Employees were exposed to eye injuries while cutting lumber for wood framing using a circular saw without eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.405(g)(2)(iv):Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  On or about June 4th, 2025 Location: 19 Maple Terrace, Monsey, NY 10952  a) Employee was exposed to electric shock and/or fire hazard because the use of an extension cord that was damaged at the terminal end by either pull and/or strain to the cable. Strain relief device was missing from one of the connection ends.

Employees did not have personal fall arrest systems.  The JP United Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1740181, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/17/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 62 Riverglen Dr., Thiells, NY 10984.
