The employees were using air powered nail guns and the employer did not ensure that they were wearing protective safety glasses. Miller Roofing & Exteriors Limited was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFE 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1527464, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/16/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 9662 Diamond Ridge Cir, Canal Fulton Ohio 44614.

The employees were working on all areas of the roof and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection. The employees were using a portable ladder to access/egress the working surface of the roof that did not extended three feet above the landing area.
