Employees refilling, replacing nozzles, and removing trays in the Chemcut Corporation etching machines in the etching department were exposed to hazards such as, but not limited to, severe skin burns and eye damage.

Employees working in the etching department were exposed to hazards associated with ferric chloride such as, but not limited to, irritation to the respiratory tract, skin burns, eye damage, and may cause cancer.
