29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun. On or about June 11, 2025, one employee was observed using pneumatic nail guns without appropriate eye protection and was exposed to flying particle hazards. Garcia Projects LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1749973, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 4822 Lacy Rd, FITCHBURG, WI 53711.
