29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A personal fall arrest or travel restraint system that meets the requirements in 29 CFR part 1910, subpart I, shall be worn and attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a) On or about July 27, 2024, an employee installing containment netting on an overpass was not protected by a personal fall arrest system while working from an aerial lift; the employer did not ensure all employees working from an aerial lift were protected by use of a personal fall arrest system.
