29 CFR 1926.503(c): The employer did not retrain affected employees who already had been trained but demonstrated inadequate understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section: a. On or about September 30, 2025, the employer failed to retrain employees who had previously received fall protection training but demonstrated inadequate understanding and skill, in that employees removed personal fall arrest systems prior to traversing to the ladder to exit the roof. Employees were thereby exposed to a fall hazard of approximately eighteen (18) feet, two (2) inches while performing roofing operations.
