29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the temporary jobsite located at 16928 Evans Rd, Basehor, Kansas, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18 feet from the roof to the ground below. Fall protection was not utilized. The Shuker Custom Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541167, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9-20-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 10312 151st Pl, Overland Park, Kansas.
