29 CFR  1910.132(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition wherever it is necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation or physical contact.   On or about January 30, 2026, the employer did not ensure employees wore the appropriate skin and body protection such as, chemical resistant clothing, while using, handling, and transferring corrosive materials and/or hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, RBP Metering Roller Cleaner 5020, RBP Blanket Conditioner, and RBP On The Fly.    Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  On or about January 30, 2026, the employer did not ensure employees wore the appropriate eye and/or face protection such as safety googles and face shields while using, handling, and transferring corrosive materials and/or hazardous chemicals such as , but not limited to, RBP Metering Roller Cleaner 5020 and RBP Blanket Conditioner.     Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   On or about January 30, 2026, employees were exposed to corrosive materials along with other chemical hazards while handling, transferring, and using chemicals such as, but not limited to, Producers Blanket Wash, RBP Metering Roller Cleaner, RBP Pressman Conditioner, and Kodak SP500 Plate Cleaners solution. The employer did not ensure suitable facilities, such as eye wash stations and/or showers were properly functioning and capable of providing immediate quick drenching and flushing to the eyes/face and/or body as needed.    There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(8): The employer did not ensure that portable containers into which hazardous chemicals were  transferred from labeled containers and which were not intended for the immediate use of the person doing the transfer, were properly labeled.  On or about January 30, 2026, the employer did not ensure the proper labeling was affixed to secondary portable containers containing corrosive materials and/or hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, Producers Blanket Wash, RBP Metering Roller Cleaner, RBP Pressman Conditioner, MP30 Oil, and On the Fly. Chemicals were initially transferred from labeled containers that were not intended for immediate and were used beyond a normal work shift.  Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
