The employer shall establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative.   (a) On or about March 27, 2026, the employer had not developed, implemented and utilized a hazardous energy control program, to ensure effective procedures were developed for performing maintenance and servicing work on HortFiller Flat and Pot Filler, and that employees were trained on use of procedures to prevent exposure to unexpected energizing of equipment and crushing hazards associated with the HortFiller Flat and Pot Filler.
