Jobsite: On or about April 10, 2026, the employer did not ensure that an employee working from the top level of a scaffold retained the requisite knowledge from his training to understand the hazard he was exposed to while working at a height of approximately 13 feet, 9 inches without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii). Jobsite: On or about April 10, 2026, the employer did not ensure that the top level of a supported frame scaffold was fully planked. An employee was working from the top level and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet, 9 inches. Ronnie Demeo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection #1694362, citation #1, item #1 and was affirmed as a final order on March, 21, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 29 Bell Street, Stamford, CT.

The employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet, 9 inches.
