An employee was assisting with pouring some molds. After pouring a mold, the employee approached the cart that the mold was sitting on and slid the weight off of the mold. The metal had not solidified yet, causing the mold to separate and liquefied metal to run out between the molds into the employee's boot. The employee sustained second and third degree burns to the lower left leg and foot and was hospitalized.
