An electrician was relocating a live, 480-volt wire in an electrical panel. Carpenters from another company were drilling a hole on the floor with a track underneath the panel. An arc flash occurred in the electrical panel and hit the electrician and two carpenters. The electrician sustained burns to his face and stomach. One carpenter sustained burns to his back. The other carpenter had buzzing in his ear due to the loud sound.
