An employee, who was using a climbing device, was on top of an approximately 50-foot pole replacing an 8-foot crossarm. The employee's safety line was cut by a chainsaw, causing him to fall to the ground. The employee sustained soft tissue injuries to their cervical spine at C1-C2 and C2-C3, and a severe bruise to their right hip.
