On September 17, 2025, an employee was climbing a fixed ladder built into the side of a dump trailer to check load distribution after the trailer was filled with mulch. While climbing, the welds holding one of the ladder rungs failed. The rung broke free while the employee was holding it, causing the employee to fall. He struck the trailer s wheel well with his feet before landing on compacted mulch and gravel. The employee suffered four broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a scalp laceration.
