Final narrative
A subcontractor employee was guiding a roof truss through a window opening onto a two-story single-family home. The employee tripped and fell to the ground. While the employee was getting up, a counterweight gave way and the truss fell and struck the employee. He was hospitalized with four fractured ribs.
