Before the incident
Assisting with startup of Line 2. Had just got the plastic onto the startup sheets and was proceeding to the outfeed side of the calibrator plates. Was stepping onto the platform and grabbed the [REDACTED] with right hand.
What happened
Employee was stepping up onto the platform and grabbed a section of [REDACTED] that was mounted between the upper and lower water manifolds for the calibrator plates. The employee 's thumb went into one of the holes on the [REDACTED] and the continued movement to the outfeed of the plates the thumb was hung in the [REDACTED] their momentum and their thumb being stuck resulted in the injury.
