Before the incident

EE was working on 8 molder feed table this unit is not in service as of the date of the injury EE was making adjustments to the serpentine belt as the machine was LOTO requiring the EE to manually roll the sheave pulleys While adjusting the belt began to roll off the sheave the EE used a Right hand to push the belt back inline with the tread on the sheave while the EE continued to manually roll the sheave The belt rolled of the sheave when the take up arm came loose and contacted the EE right thumb resulting in a laceration to the top near the nail bed The EE drove to the Urgent Care to follow up It was learned that the EEs right thumb was also fractured Discharged with light duty and restrictions 2 15 24 EE returned to full duty without restrictions 2 5 EE had RTW form for limited use of Right Hand
