Operating press brake

Employee was breaking carbon steel parts in a press brake he picked up a part that had a piece of dross (metal slag) on the bottom side that he didn 't see. As he ran his hand along the bottom of the part to pick it up the dross punctured through his glove and through his finger. The employee immediately removed the sliver of metal washed and then cleaned his finger with alcohol notified his supervisor and Work Partners was called. They advised the employee to go to an urgent care [REDACTED] to get a tetanus shot. The employee was sent to an urgent care [REDACTED] we are still waiting on a status update.
