Operating angle grinder with cutting wheel installed; Removing metal from ram head assembly on Rook unit
What happened
The employee was operating a 4 1 2 angle grinder with a cutting wheel installed but the guard and handle were removed prior to using. While operating the grinder the cutting wheel made contact with his left hand slicing between his index and middle fingers. First aid was given to control the bleeding and he was immediately taken to the ER.
