What happened
I am attaching my statement as to why we are controverting this claim. [REDACTED] brought back 2.5 hours from his route on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. When we questioned him as to why he has a third of his route left he began to tell us supervisors how he hasn 't been feeling well for a week how he has had fevers muscle aches and pains exhaustion no sleep puking throughout the day and evening blurry vision when he drives etc. I told him that since he just admitted his vision is blurry when he drives we cannot allow him to drive until he gets medical documentation saying he can do his job safely. He said he didn 't have insurance and if he was going to the doctor USPS would have to pay. when we told him it 's his responsibility to take care of himself he said not if I claim heat stroke. then you 'd have to pay for my doctor visit since it would be an on the job injury.
