Walking up printer stairs.

Employee was walking up printer steps with intention to stir ink. Employee stated they were not running or carrying anything. Employee stated they experienced knee pain in their right knee and it popped. No employee directly witnessed the event. Employee reported the pain to their supervisor. Supervisor recorded the event in the injury log. Employee refused medical evaluation at time of incident and finished their shift and every scheduled shift thereafter. Employee sought medical evaluation on [REDACTED] and an X-ray was taken. X-ray showed nothing was broken. No restrictions time off or medical treatment beyond first aid resulted from the doctor appointment on [REDACTED]. An MRI was scheduled for further evaluation. MRI showed small tear to meniscus. If subsequent surgery is scheduled it will change the recordability of the incident. Surgery performed [REDACTED] making this a days away incident.
