What happened
Employee was removing wand from empty 735 acid cleaner tote near the washer in preparation for switching to a new tote. Employee was standing on the yellow spill containment pallet to reach the wand for removal and slipped off the pallet. Employee felt pain in their right knee when they landed on their feet. Employee reported the pain to their supervisor. Employee completed their shift. After their shift the employee sought medical evaluation at ER. Evaluation confirmed a sprain. Only over-the-counter medication at over-the-counter strength was administered. The doctor gave a note excusing the employee from work for the following day which makes this a recordable DART with one day away.
