What happened
The shackle rigging got in a bind while it was trying to be moved. Foremen had the crane operator the crane operator to cable up slowly. There was a delay between the foremen telling the crane operator to cable up and the cable moving. During that time the ironworker grabbed the shackle and tried to move it. the Ironworker 's right ring finger was pinched between the shackle and the hook as the operator cabled up.
