Turning the high hat to bring the wire closer to feeding the wire into the draw die.
What happened
Strain to neck pulling wire from high hat The Header Operator was pulling the wire towards the draw die and the high hat would barely turn. The trainee Header Operator also assisted in turning the high hat and it still would barely turn. During this action the Header Operator felt a pull in his upper back neck area on the left side. The Header continued his work but did report what had occurred to the shift Supervisor. First-aid action was taken to provide the Header Operator with ice ice packs for his back neck area.
