Before the incident
EE cut left index finger on the coating chambers ductor blade while cleaning The crew was on MR when the operator placed the old coating chamber in the sink w out water As the operator was installing the new chamber the injured EE went to clean the old coating chamber not realizing the blades had not been removed EE slid his finger across the blade area resulting in a laceration to the finger EE was taken to ER where he received stitches and tetanus shot and placed on restrictions EE was wearing the daily regular work gloves with the rubber gloves over those No cut resistant gloves were used
