At approximately [REDACTED] Employee on D3 was in the process of getting edge trim to place into the weed chute at the west oscillating shear slitter when the employee 's right index & middle fingers contacted the shear slitter blade. The incident resulted in laceration to both fingers. E-squad was notified and the employee was transported to the emergency room for treatment. The D3 Process line was shut down and the incident is currently under investigation.
