Employee and a coworker were replacing the concrete area of the ramp area at the [REDACTED]. They were using bags of concrete and a rented concrete Mixer.

While adding one of the bags the bag was caught in the opening of the mixer it caused the bag to tear in half with one half going in mixer and other half falling towards ground. He instinctively reached and caught the falling half bag before it struck the ground and he felt like he was snapped with a rubber band in the right groin area.

Right Inguinal hernia was diagnosed after injury reported and seen by dr.

Lifting bag of Concrete and loading into rental concrete mixer.

Employee was loading a bag of dry concrete mix and the mixer caught the bag which split the bag in two the employee attempted to catch the partial bags and suffered a strain to his groin.
