What happened
Employee was working on the [REDACTED] Table banding 4x4x8 lumber units from the line when a unit fell partially apart and had to be reassembled after coming down off of the elevator. The employee restacked the unit while on the [REDACTED] Table. Once the employee finished restacking he bent over to pick up the banding to band the unit together. It was during that time the unit fell apart again and hit the employees hard hat knocking it to the ground along with some boards striking him on his hand and lower right side back. No first aid was administered or needed. There was some redness on lower right back where board had struck the employee while bent over with a little discomfort described by the employee afterwards but said they were ok. Employee sought medical treatment over weekend off and received medical treatment. No restrictions or lost time.
