The ironworker had connected his fall protection equipment to the horizontal lifeline located on the east side of the internal bracing built into the truss.

Ironworker was on the iron moving into position to begin connecting the left-out iron. He was crossing a truss and transitioning from one side of the truss to the other when his toe slipped off the iron and he fell. He caught himself with his left arm and pulled himself back up onto the iron where he noticed he had pain in his left shoulder.
