What happened
[at fault] Recordable Employee While attempting to clamp a piece of steel to raise with the chain hoist the steel fell and pinched the right thumb between another piece of steel they were using to prop it up. When their thumb was pinched between the two pieces of steel a laceration was sustained. Another employee provided transport to the emergency room for treatment. X-rays taken at Munson Medical Center showed a fracture to the right thumb.
