What happened
On [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] a machine operator raised a piece of angle with a plate clamp to adjust the lower pieces of angle. The angle slipped out of the clamp and fell onto the operator 's hand breaking his right ring finger and lifting the nail from the nail bed. He was taken to CVMC for treatment where the laceration was sutured and he was prescribed medication. The operator had all proper PPE on and was instructed to contact HR [REDACTED].
