What happened
EE WAS REBUILDING A GRINDER KNIFE AND MEASURING THE BLADE GAP WHEN THE BLADE UNEXPECTEDLY SLIPPED OUT OF THEIR HANDS RESULTING IN A ROTATION OF THE BLADES CAUSING THE EE LEFT HANDTO GET CAUGHT BETWEEN THE GRINDER BLADE AND THE BED KNIFE. THIS RESULTED IN A LACERATION TO THE LEFT MIDDLE FINGER. EE WAS WEARING CUT LEVEL A9 GLOVES THE BLADE PENETRATED THE GLOVE. ONSITE FIRST RESPONDERS CLEANED THE WOUND APPLIED GAUZE AND RECOMMENDED THE EE GO TO THE ER. EE WAS TRANSPORTED TO ER WHERE STITCHES WERE RECIEVED.
