removing old buckets and moving old belt

A maintenance employee was working to remove old buckets from the unload elevator belt so they could be saved and re-used. While attempting to move the old belt the employee felt a sharp pain in their back. Employee reported to a coworker who advised them to see the on-site PT for evaluation and self care advice. Symptoms did not improve and progressed to leg pain so the employee sought higher level care. Recordable injury.
