What happened

It was already a very busy night and in the middle of batch I had a stat order and quickly went into the ante room where the meds dilutions are kept to get what I needed. While walking briskly I tripped a little kind of twisted my right ankle. I didn 't think much of it I mean it felt like a pretty normal trip but then day by day it has gotten increasingly worse. I started by taking ibuprofen (200mg sometimes 400mg) every evening especially the nights I am working because majority of my shifts are spent on my feet. As the pain increased I graduated to taking naproxen 400mg every night and wrapping the ankle to kind of help with walking. Now it has swollen and I am limping very noticeably so; because of the limp my other leg is taking most of my body weight and causing a bit of tension on my left leg and foot. I have tried elevating my foot when at home but it 's hard to get adequate time to rest it because I am here seemingly every day and my job is on my feet.
