What happened
I was passing the instruments as normal went to pick up the suction tip somehow the myringotomy knife flipped over pointing up and stuck me in the finger (the right ring finger). The blade was removed from the field and a new blade was added and the nurse took over while I went to wash my hands. The exposure protocol was followed.
