A maintenance employee was sifting through a metal trash hopper located outside of the maintenance shop when they pulled their hand out and noticed a large slice in their LEFT index finger just below the first knuckle joint. The employees finger was bandaged up and the employee was taken to Concentra for further evaluation. The employee was not wearing gloves
