Normal Job Duties

In [REDACTED] this employee showed the same significant shift in their hearing in their right ear. When I asked them to be retested they told me that they have issues with their ears and they had an appointment with an Ear Nose and Throat doctor. We waited until after that appointment to have them retest and their test came back better than the [REDACTED]. In [REDACTED] the same thing happened; they told me it happens every year and they had an appointment in the [REDACTED][REDACTED]). However [REDACTED] their appointment was canceled and they were not able to see the doctor this time so the retest showed no improvement. They told me that it is not a work issue it is an allergy issue and that they told this to the person testing them both from Examinetics and Concentra when they retested but they still marked it as work-related.
